Well, considering the fact that I am sneaking into the com, this will be short.

I have arrived on a conclusion about something. It's the drawing style. I think...it would be best if I don't ever push myself to make my drawings look exactly like the original. This has nothing to do with copyright infringement whatsoever (heck, it's FANART). This is because I feel that we should just draw with our own personal style, with freedom and no restraints and such. So long as ppl know what you're drawing, and think that it's fine, then I'm fine too.

I'm not saying that comparing is bad or anything. Heck, I compare my grades with ppl and I think I suck, but never mind that now. I realised that if you don't compare fanart with the original, you'd look at things at a whole new angle. I've seen ppl's drawings, and I never compare them to the original, unless it's a copy job.

So, from now on, I don't care if ppl think my drawings suck. I'm just going to draw what I deem fit. I'm not gonna make references. I'm just gonna sit there, look at the pencil in my hand and DRAW. And do some touching up to make it look nicer, but not anywhere nearer to how the original looks.

Original = original
Copy jobs = copy jobs
Fanart = fanart

No offense to ppl who do copy jobs, but I think copy jobs lack the creativity and innovation. Heck, I USED to do copy jobs but after finding out that I suck at it and am better at just drawing with my own style without reference, I think copy jobs lack creativity.

Unless there's no reference made at all. Then THAT is real skill that I admire.
